When exporting an Autodesk Inventor drawing to an AutoCAD Mechanical file, maps the line types to AutoCAD line types and line styles to layers in the destination file.

Click Save or Save AsSave Copy As. Select an AutoCAD Mechanical file, and then select AutoCAD Drawing (.dwg) as the file type. Click Options. In the DWG File Export Options dialog box, ensure Create AutoCAD Mechanical file is selected, and then click Next. |
Maps the line types in an Autodesk Inventor drawing to the AutoCAD line types when exporting the drawing.

Shows the line types in the Autodesk Inventor Drawing. |
AutoCAD Line Type |
Shows the available AutoCAD line types. The translator sets the default for each line type to the closest possible match. To map to a different line type, click the arrow, and then select from the list. |
AutoCAD Line Scale |
Sets the scale for the line type. |
AutoCAD line types |
Sets the LIN file to use for line type mapping. To specify a different LIN file click Browse and browse to the LIN file you want to use. Click Reset Defaults to restore Autodesk Inventor's default setting. Note: A LIN file contains one or more line type definitions. Each definition contains a name, a description, and a numerical description.
