Get latest version from Vault

  1. In the Autodesk Inventor Task Scheduler window, click Get Latest from Vault .

    The information in the task list switches to show any check-out or check-in tasks you saved previously.

  2. In the Autodesk Inventor Task Scheduler window, right-click, and select Create Task Get Latest from Vault.

    In the Log In dialog box, enter your vault user name and password and the server name and database location.

  3. In the Get Latest from Vault dialog box, Task pane, the active vault project is listed by default. Do one of the following:
    • Click Add Project. Not available if a vault project is not active.
    • Click Add Files or Add Folder. Specifies the files and folders within the active vault project to include in the task. Not available if a vault project is active.

    If your selection is Add Folder:

    • To include subfolders, click the corresponding level of the Recursive column.
    • To specify the file types within the folder to include in the task, change the entry in the Input File Name column.
    • To change the output file type, click the Output File Name column to activate the drop-down arrow. Click the arrow, and then select a file type from the list.

    If your selection is Add Files:

    • To change the output file type, click the Output Folder column to activate the ellipsis button. Click the ellipsis button, and in the Save Copy As dialog box, Save as type, specify a file type.

    If necessary, repeat the steps to add more files and folders.

  4. In the Task Properties box, enter a task name and a time-out threshold.
  5. Specify a schedule, or select the Immediately option.
  6. In Log File, leave the checkbox selected for the default, or
    • To overwrite the default, enter an existing file path and name.
    • Click Browse to find and select an existing file.
    • To specify no log file, clear the checkbox.
  7. Click OK.
  8. In the Get Latest dialog box, click Settings, and set the options to apply to all files in the task. Click OK.

If it is the first task you create during the current session, the Authentication dialog box is displayed. Enter your Windows log in name and password.

The task is displayed in the task list. You can close the Autodesk Inventor Task Scheduler window. The task runs as scheduled.
