The Flow resistance indicator result shows the resistance at the flow front from the gates.
This result is output from a Gate Location analysis. It represents the flow resistance at the flow front from the gate locations, normalized to show the highest flow resistance through lowest flow resistance.
Use the Flow resistance indicator result with Fill analysis results to determine the most appropriate gate location.
If the flow resistance is not evenly distributed from the injection locations to the end of the flow paths, relocate or add new injection locations.
Ensure that the flow resistance is evenly distributed throughout the part. When areas of low relative flow resistance surround areas with a high relative flow resistance, defects or filling problems can occur.
