You can create appearances and use them to change the appearance for each part of the 3D Orthogonal Route tool. Changing appearances may provide better visibility while working with routes and runs.
- Open an existing or new tube and pipe assembly file with at least one route.
- Activate the Tube & Pipe Runs assembly.
- On the ribbon, click
Tools tab
Material and Appearance panel
Appearance
. - In the Library pane, click Autodesk Inventor Material Library, and then scroll to view and select a Route_UI_Tool_toolname appearance from the list. If you want, you can edit the appearance at this time.
- Click Save.
- To apply changes to the 3D Orthogonal Route tool immediately, click Ok if in the Appearance Editor or close the Appearance Browser. Unapplied changes become effective when you close the dialog box.
