Adjust Orientation

Access:
	On the Mold Layout tab, or Core/Cavity tab, click Adjust Orientation Note: If Adjust Orientation is not visible in the Mold Layout tab, click the arrow under Adjust Position, and then click Adjust Orientation

Change the direction of a plastic part in the mold.

	Plastic Part In the graphics window, select a part.
Method	Rotate around Axis Rotates the plastic part through the specified angle about the X, Y, or Z axis. Align with Axis Aligns a selected edge, or the normal of a selected surface, with the specified axis.
Rotation	Uses the X axis of the plastic part coordinate system as the reference. Uses the Y axis of the plastic part coordinate system as the reference. Uses the Z axis of the plastic part coordinate system as the reference. Rotation Angle Enter the angle of rotation for the plastic part. Applies the rotation to the plastic part without closing the dialog box.
Align	Uses the X axis of the plastic part coordinate system as the reference. Uses the Y axis of the plastic part coordinate system as the reference. Uses the Z axis of the plastic part coordinate system as the reference. Select edge or surface Select an edge or planar surface on the plastic part in the graphics window. Flip moldable part Reverses the direction of the plastic part.
