Connector Pin Properties

Adds, modifies, and removes properties on selected connector pins or pin groups.

Access:

While a connector part is open (or in edit context), do one of the following: In the graphics window or browser, right-click a pin and then select Harness Properties. To view the Connector Pin Properties dialog box, click Harness Properties on the Pin Name dialog box when creating a pin.

General tab

Pin Name

Displays the default pin name, which is an incremental number starting with 1. If appropriate, click the input area to enter a unique name. If the pin is part of a group, you cannot change the name.

Custom tab

Name	Displays the entered property name. Click in the input area to enter a new property, or if available, click the arrow to select from the list.
Type	Data type for the selected property. Click the arrow to select a data type from the list.
Value	Sets the value for the selected property.
Add	Adds a new property to the list.
Modify	Changes the selected property's name, type, or value.
Delete	Removes the selected property from the list.
