- On the ribbon, click Annotate (ESKD) tabSymbols panelSoldering Symbol. A plus (+) sign appears beside the cursor.
- In the graphic window, click the location on the drawing where you want to add the soldering symbol. The location you select changes color.
- Move the cursor to a different location. A leader line extends from the target to the cursor.
- Click to set a point.
- In the Soldering Symbol dialog box, add the solder information using one of the following methods. Either type the appropriate solder information, or use the context menu options
- Click the check mark to add the symbol and annotation.

Expand the dialog box to add more information

- Click to set a point. The Soldering Symbol dialog box appears.
- In the Soldering Symbol dialog box, click Expand >>.
- In the Symbol section, select one or more symbols to add to the soldering symbol.
- In the Requirement section, add all requirements that apply to the solder.
- Click OK.

Edit Soldering Symbol
- In the browser, expand the Sketched Symbols node to display a list of symbols.
- Right-click the Soldering symbol you want to edit, and click Edit Soldering Symbol.
Note: In the drawing double-click the soldering symbol to launch the dialog box, or right-click to display a context menu and select the edit option.
Delete Soldering Symbol
- In the browser, expand the Sketched Symbols node to display a list of symbols.
- Right-click the Soldering symbol you want to edit, and click Delete.
Note: In the drawing click the symbol to highlight it, and press the Delete key on the keyboard.
