Split part into multiple solid bodies

Start the Split command and click the Split Solid method from the feature dialog. Select the Split Tool, and then click the work plane, 2D sketch or surface body to use as the split tool. If there is only one solid in the part file, the solid is automatically selected. If there are multiple solid bodies present, select the Solid to be split. Click OK.

Note: Solid bodies in a multi-body part file can be exported as individual part files by using the Make Part command. Files created with this workflow are associative to the parent part file.
