Measure distance relative to coordinate system

If your active file contains a UCS, a UCS drop-down list displays in the Measure Distance dialog box. Select the item from the list (Origin or desired UCS) to show distance either from the Origin of the part or from the origin of the selected coordinate system.

1. Open a part document with an already inserted UCS.
2. In the drop-down menu:
   • Select Origin to show distance from an Origin of the part.
   • Select a desired UCS to show distance from the origin of the specified coordinate system.
