Solver message 302138

Explanation

The AMG matrix solver for coupled 3D flow calculations is set to Automatic. It will be used by default except in the following situations:
  • if your model has fewer than 200,000 tetrahedra,
  • if you are using Redhat Linux,
  • if you are using thermoset injection processes,
  • if you are using core shift analyses.
In these cases, the standard iterative matrix solver will be used.

Resolution

You may turn the AMG matrix solver for coupled 3D flow calculations on or off by editing the AMG matrix solver selection option in the Solver Parameters dialog. To access this dialog, ensure you are using a 3D model.
  1. Click Analysis > Process Settings Wizard > Advanced options. The Fill+Pack Analysis Advanced Options dialog appears.
  2. From the Solver Parameters section, click Edit. The Thermoplastics injection molding solver parameters (3D) dialog appears.
  3. From the Solver Setup section, click Solver parameters. The Solver Parameters dialog appears.
  4. Select the desired setting from the AMG matrix solver selection drop-down list.
