Defining the modeling grid properties

1. Click (Geometry tab > Properties panel > Defaults > Grid Size).
2. Select Display modeling grid to visualize the grid while modeling items.
   Note: If the modeling grid is displayed, you can choose the Snap to grid option to help you to draw segments precisely.
   Tip: Select the Show Snap Icon option if you want to display information relative to a gridpoint before clicking on it.
3. If necessary, enter a grid line spacing in the Grid size text box, and/or set a color.
   Note: To change the units, click then click Options, and select the General tab.
4. Set the origin for the modeling grid. Select User Defined from the Position drop-down list to activate the X, Y and Z text box.
5. Click OK to save and close the dialog.

Note: These settings can be changed at any time during the modeling process.
