Reattaching the cavities to the runner system

After adding a new or replacement cavity, deleting runner features, or importing an existing runner system, you may need to reattach the runner system to a cavity(ies).

Note: The Attach Gate dialog is only available if the runner system you imported contains gates.

To reattach the cavities to the runner system, apply the following steps.

1. (Geometry tab > Feed System panel > Attach Gate).
   The Attach Gate dialog appears.
2. If only one gate and injection point is detached, click Apply. If multiple gates and injection points are detached, select the relevant pair from the Injection Location Select and Gate Select drop-down lists, and then click Apply.
   Note: As you select a gate or injection point from the drop-down list, the relevant item changes to the active selection color.
3. Repeat step 2 until all the cavities are reattached, and then click Close.
