Explanation

The composite (matrix+fibers) Poisson's ratio values (v12 and v23) specified in the mechanical properties of the currently selected material describe a material which expands when it is compressed. This is an error.

Resolution

• Edit the current material and change the composite Poisson's ratios.
• Edit the current material and change the composite elastic moduli.
• Select a different material.
• If the material is from the Autodesk Simulation Moldflow materials database, contact Technical Support.
