Setting default cooling channel properties

There are two ways to affect the cooling channel type and size. This topic describes how you can set defaults for these properties before you create the cooling channel.

You can also change the properties of existing cooling channels.

1. Click (Geometry tab > Properties panel > Defaults > Cooling Channel properties).

   The Channel properties dialog appears.

2. In the Channel type drop-down list, select the desired channel type.
   Note: Information about each channel is displayed in the Description section, as they are selected.
3. Enter a value for the channel diameter.
4. Click OK to save and close the dialog.
