Opening a Project

Opening a project allows you to begin analyzing your part design for injection molding problems.

1. Click (Start and Learn tab > Launch panel > Open Project).
2. Navigate to the folder where the project is located.
3. Click the project file (*.mpa) to select it.
4. Click Open.
5. If the model uses a material that is not in the database you will be prompted to choose between two options.
   • Export the material used in the model to the material database.
   • Delete the material used in the model and use a different material from the material database.
6. If the material database has a newer version of the material used in the study, you can choose to upgrade the material used in your model.

The project and any associated studies open.
