Autodesk Simulation Moldflow products are very flexible and can be customized to fit your requirements. This section describes how to set up your workspace so that you can interact with your model in a way that is most convenient for you.
When you first import a new model for analysis, it is saved into a new project, and each variation of that model is saved into a new study. The studies can then be compared, renamed, copied, or deleted as required. Results in one study can be compared to other results in that study or to similar results in another study. You should manage your projects and studies efficiently so that they are easy to find and storage requirements are minimized.
You can choose to use a keyboard or a mouse; keyboard shortcuts are available if you prefer a keyboard, and button and wheel functions can be customized if you prefer to use a mouse.
This topic also describes how to open multiple windows so that you can view different aspects of the model simultaneously, arrange the windows as required, and manipulate the model so that you can work with it more effectively.
