Repositioning only the Navigation bar along an edge of the model window

The Navigation bar may be moved around the model window independently of the ViewCube. To do this, the Navigation bar must not be linked to the ViewCube:

1. Click Customize on the bottom right-hand corner of the Navigation bar.
   
   
2. From the customize menu, click Docking positions and confirm that Link to ViewCube is not checked.
3. If Linked to ViewCube is checked, click on it to unselect it. The grip handle for the Navigation bar is displayed along its top.
4. Click the grip handle, drag the Navigation bar to where you want it displayed, and release the button. Dragging the Navigation bar to the top or bottom of the window orients it horizontally; dragging it to the left or right side of the window orients it vertically.
