Position the active cutting plane by entering a distance from the current position.
This dialog can be accessed by clicking 
() or appears after clicking Make Active on the Cutting Planes dialog.
It is also possible to show/hide the visual representation of the cutting plane, and to animate the cutting plane.
Dialog elements
- Distance
- Specifies the distance the cutting plane will move in the direction orthogonal to itself. When animating the cutting plane, this value determines the distance between each frame of the animation.Note: The plane can be moved in either a positive or negative direction. Enter −< distance > to move the plane the required distance in the negative direction.
- Show active plane
- Displays and hides the active cutting plane on the model.
- Animation
- Automatically animate the cutting plane through the part. To stop the animation, deselect the check box.
