Set Analysis Parameters

In this task, you set up and run a packing analysis.

1. Click Home > Molding Process Setup > Analysis Wizard.

2. Uncheck Fill as the analysis sequence.

3. Check Fill+Pack as the analysis sequence, then click Next.

   

4. Confirm the material is Styron EUR, Magnum 3416 SC, then click Next.

5. Set the fill time to 3.5 seconds, then click Next.

   

6. Review the Packing profile and Automatic cooling time, then click Analyze.

   

   The analysis takes several minutes to analyze.

7. When the analysis is finished, click Summary to close the Summary panel.
