Reports saved in (*.htm), (*.doc) and (*.ppt) formats can be sent to other recipients.
Prior to sending a report, you must have one generated.
- Preview the report to check that the information is correct, and that it displays correctly. The report will open using the default program with which the file type is associated.
- Navigate to the directory where your project is located and open the Report folder.
Project files are typically located in the Project folder, e.g. My Documents\My ASMA xxxx Projects.
Note: If you have more than one report, there will be several numbered Report folders. Open the appropriate Report folder.
- Locate the report file and send it to the recipient.
- If it is an HTML report, you should archive or compress the Report folder into a single file before sending it to the recipient.
- If it is a PowerPoint or Word report, it is not necessary to archive the folder. You can send the single PowerPoint or Word file to the recipient.
Tip: WinZip is a popular archiving tool that can be used to consolidate and compress several files and folders together so you can send it as one attachment. Ensure you have archived the folder and its subfolders by saving the full path info in your archiving tool.
