The Material tab of the Analysis Wizard allows selection of the material to be used in an analysis.
You can access personal and system material databases through this dialog to plot the properties of a material, search for a specific material, select a material, and add the material to a commonly used list.
| Environmental Impact icons | Displays the Energy usage indicator and Resin identification code of the currently selected material. |
| Commonly used materials | Lists the materials that have been used most often. |
| Remove | Removes the selected material from the commonly used materials list. |
| Specific material | Lists every material entry in the Autodesk Moldflow materials database, sorted by Manufacturer and then Trade Name. |
| Customize Material List | Modify the default list of searchable materials. |
| Reset Material List | Reset the list of searchable materials to its default setting. |
| Manufacturer | Lists every material manufacturer available in the Autodesk Moldflow materials database. |
| Import | Import a material database (*.udb) file to your personal database. |
| Trade name | Lists the material trade names available for the selected manufacturer. |
| Search | Enables you to search the Autodesk Moldflow materials database for the required material. |
| Add material to commonly used list after selecting | Includes the selected material in the list of commonly used materials. |
| Details | Enables you to view the properties of the selected material to determine if it is appropriate for the analysis. |
| Report | Generates a report on the properties of the selected material to determine if it is appropriate for the analysis. |
