Use the Cooling Wizard to create a simple cooling system for a mold.
The Layout group controls the size and orientation of the cooling channels.
The Channel distribution group controls the spacing and position of the cooling channels.
Dialog elements
- Layout
- Specifies the type and orientation of the cooling channels.
- Channel
- Displays the type of cooling channel segment you are creating.
Click
to specify the default type and properties for subsequent cooling channel segments that you create. - Layout
- Orient the cooling channels along the X or Y-axis.
- Channel distribution
- Controls the spacing and position of the cooling channels.
- Specify number of channels
- Specify the number of cooling channels to be created around the model.
To change the number of circuits, click inside the box and enter the required number.
- Distance between channels
- Specify the distance from one channel to the next.
- Offset from part's boundary
- Specify how far away the cooling channels should be from the outer boundary of the part.
- Hose length
- Enter the required hose length.
