Specify the total mold volume, or use the automatically calculated value.
The volume of the mold cavities and associated runner system has been calculated. These values are used to calculate the associated material costs. You can override these values by checking Modify calculated values and entering the required volumes.
Dialog elements
- Mold Volume
- Specify the necessary data to calculate the material costs by volume.
- Modify calculated values
- Allows modification of the automatically calculated values for the mold volume.
- Select this option, then change the value of the Total cavity volume and/or the Runner system volume.
- Runner System Volume
- Displays the volume of the model's runner system, if one exists.
- Change this figure to automatically update the Material cost per part calculation in the Cost Adviser.
