A result summary showing the analysis inputs and the results of each phase of the analysis or analysis sequence is generated for each analysis that is performed.
Select Summary in the Study Tasks pane to view this summary.
Note: Results summaries are included by default in results files exported from Autodesk Simulation Moldflow Adviser.
Summary
All of the inputs that have been specified for the analysis are listed in the
General tab of the
Summary pane, and this section is used to verify that the inputs are correct. This summary contains the following information, depending on the analysis that is being run:
- Solver parameters
- Material data
- Process settings
- Model details
The
Mold tab records the following information:
- Mold dimensions
- Mold material
- Mold plate dimensions
- Mold offsets
The
Runner System tab records the following information:
- Sprue dimensions
- Runner dimensions
- Gate dimensions
The
Cooling System tab records the following information:
- Cooling circuit dimensions
- Coolant information
The
Fill tab records the following results:
- Actual filling time
- Actual Injection pressure
- Clamp force area
- Max. clamp force during filling
- Velocity/pressure switch-over at % volume
- Velocity/pressure switch-over at time
- Estimated cycle time
- Total part weight at the end of filling
- Shot volume
- Cavity volume
- Runner system volume
The
Pack tab records the following results:
- Maximum clamp force during cycle
- Max. wall shear stress
- Total part weight
- Cooling time
- Cycle time
The
Cooling Quality tab records the following results:
- Maximum and minimum temperature variance
- Maximum and minimum cooling time variance
The
Cool tab records the following results:
- Maximum temperature, part
- Minimum temperature, part
- Average temperature, part
- Mold exterior temperature
The
Cost Adviser displays the following results:
- Total cost
- Total cost per shot
- Material cost
- Mold cost
- Molding cost
- Post-molding cost
- Cost breakdown
