Using legacy materials in an analysis

Legacy Autodesk Simulation Moldflow materials (*.asc) or legacy C-MOLD materials (*.udb) can be used in your analysis.

Note: Before a legacy material can be used in an analysis, it must first be imported into a personal database.

1. Open a new or existing project.
2. Click (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Select Material).
3. Click Search, then click Search again to open the Select Thermoplastics material dialog.
4. Select All Thermoplastic material (User) from the drop-down list.
5. Select the material you want to use and click Select.
6. Click OK to close all dialogs. Your legacy material is now available for use in the current study.
