Setting default gate properties

There are two ways to affect the gate type, shape and size. This topic describes how you can set defaults for these properties before you create the gate.

You can also change the properties of existing gates.

1. Click (Geometry tab > Properties panel > Defaults > Gate Properties).

   The Gate properties dialog appears.

2. In the Gate type drop-down list, select the desired gate type.
3. In the Gate shape drop-down list, select the desired gate shape. Available shapes differ depending on the selected gate type.
4. Enter a value for each gate attribute corresponding to the gate shape you selected.
5. Click OK to save and close the dialog.
