Crystallization: Average relative crystallinity result

The Crystallization: Average relative crystallinity result displays the average value through the part thickness of predicted relative crystallinity a given time.

Values of relative crystallinity can range from 0 to 1. A value of 0 corresponds to no crystallinity (the material is in the amorphous phase). A value of 1 corresponds to attainment of Ultimate crystallinity for the material; this parameter is given in the Thermoplastics material dialog, Crystallization Morphology tab.

This result is the average of predicted relative crystallinity values through the part thickness, calculated for each element at each time step. It is available for display after completion of a Fill or Fill+Pack analysis.

Using this result

The Crystallization: Average relative crystallinity result may be displayed as a contour or shaded plot animated over time. The Animation plot over time is the default display.

This result also may be displayed as an XY plot or as a Path plot.
