Creating a new plot—Crystallization analysis results

To view a Crystallization analysis result as an XY plot or Path plot, create a new plot for each result and plot type combination desired.

  1. Click New Result Plot, Results toolbar (Results > New Plot), or right-click Results in the Study Tasks pane and select New Plot. The Create New Plot dialog appears.
  2. In the Available results list, click on the result you want to display. Crystallization analysis produces five results specific to crystallization:
    • Crystallization: Crystalline orientation factor
    • Crystallization: Relative crystallinity
    • Crystallization: Mechanical properties E11
    • Crystallization: Mechanical properties E22
    • Crystallization: Final relative crystallinity
  3. In the Plot type area, select the type of plot to be created. You can create an XY plot or a Path plot to display each of the Crystallization analysis results.
Note: You also can create an Animation plot with different plot properties to display each result.

  4. Select the Open a new window check box if you want the result to be displayed in a separate window.
  5. Click the Plot Properties tab and make any required changes to the result display settings. The options that appear depend on the selected result and plot type.
  6. Click OK to close the dialog and display the new result.
