** WARNING 307016 ** The volume obtained from the initially filled compression element is too small compared to the volume needed to fill the cavity. It may lead to a short shot.

Explanation

The effective volume of the initial charge is less than the design volume of the part, ie. the volume of the part when the press is completely closed. Because the volume of the polymer charge is less than that required to fill the part, it is likely that there will be a short shot. Typically, the volume of the initial charge should be slightly greater than the design volume of the part, to account for the shrinkage and other polymer behaviors.

Resolution

Increase the effective volume of the initial charge so that it is slightly larger than the volume of the final part. You can do this by creating a new thicker geometry to represent the initial charge, and mesh it. If the thickness change is only small, you might prefer to simply moved nodes on your current polymer charge, along a surface to increase the thickness.
