The Local Solve tab of the Preferences dialog box contains the following options. You can use these items to control the behavior of locally-run jobs.
- Minimum free disk space (%): When the amount of available disk space falls below this value, the Simulation Job Manager issues a warning to let you know that your disk is nearly full.
- Maximum local workers: The maximum number of local jobs that can be run at the same time. If the number of launched jobs exceeds this value, they are put into a queue and will run in turn.
- Block sleep mode during Local Solve: (Enabled by default.) This setting prevents the operating system from going into a "sleep" mode due to inactivity while jobs are running locally.
