Saving Drafting Views to an External Project

Use the following procedure to save drafting views to an external Revit LT project for use in another Revit LT project. You can also use this procedure to save sheet views and schedule views to an external project. For information on sheet views and schedule views, see Sheets and Schedule Overview.

1. Select a drafting view in the Project Browser.
2. Right-click the view name, and click Save to New File.
3. Enter a new name for the project.

   This creates a new Revit LT project file that contains the selected view and the contents of that view.
