Setting up design codes

Before you perform a code checking analysis, you must set up the code, or group of codes, that you want to use as reference for the analysis.

  1. Click Analyze tab Structural Code Checking panel Code Settings.

    The Code Settings dialog opens.

  2. Select a code from the list.

    The settings of the selected code appear on the right-hand side of the panel.

  3. If necessary, update the available code-specific parameters.
  4. In the Analysis section, click .
  5. Select a result package from the Analysis dialog, and then click OK.
  6. In the Load cases and combinations section, click .

    The Load cases and combinations dialog opens.

  7. Select the load cases and load combinations that will be used during the calculation, and then click OK.
  8. Repeat the above steps for all the selected codes, and then click OK.

Once the necessary codes are correctly set up, you must configure parameters for the elements of the model.
