Revit MEP automatically copies fixtures into an MEP project when the following conditions are true:
If you do not want Revit MEP to locate uncopied fixtures when a linked model is loaded, change settings to ignore fixture categories or types. See Ignoring Fixtures.
When Revit MEP locates uncopied fixtures a linked model, it displays the Fixtures Found dialog. Do one of the following:
If you want... | Then... |

To copy new fixtures using existing type mapping settings | click Copy the fixtures. Revit MEP copies the new fixtures from the linked model to the current project. |
To check or change type mapping settings before copying fixtures | click Specify type mapping behavior and copy fixtures. The Coordination Settings dialog displays, where you can view and change settings. When finished, click Copy to copy the new fixtures. |
No new fixtures to be copied to the MEP project | click Cancel. |
