Assign parameters to analytical model elements, and then run the code checking analysis.
Note: Before you can assign settings to elements, and perform a code checking analysis on the model, check that the following is true:
- You have set up the code or group of codes that you want to use,
- You have defined element settings,
- A code exists for all the elements that you want to check.
- Click View tab Graphics panel Visibility & Graphics to open the Visibility/Graphics dialog.
- If necessary, change the visibility settings in order to show the analytical model only, and then click OK.
- In Revit®, select the Analytical Model element, or group of Analytical Model elements, to which you want to assign settings.
Note: The selected elements must be from the same category, and also share the same Physical Material Asset type.
- In the Analytical Model section of the properties panel, click the Code Checking box, and then click .
The Element Settings dialog opens.
- Select the group of settings that you want to assign to the selected element, and then click OK.
- Repeat these steps for all the elements that require checking.
- Select all the elements that you want to verify, and then click Analyze tab Structural Code Checking panel Run Calculation.
Once the analysis is finished, the calculation note opens automatically.
