This option defines loads of concentrated forces acting on structure nodes. Open the Nodal Force dialog by clicking on the Node tab in the Load Definition dialog.
You can define the following concentrated forces acting at structure nodes:
Also, you can define the angles at which the concentrated forces act at the structure node. Angles are measured in relation to the global coordinate system axes. The positive angle is measured counterclockwise.
When defining an axisymmetric structure, the dialog has 2 options:
When Force intensity per circumference length unit is selected, the value of a uniform load p acting along the circumference of an axisymmetric structure is determined. The position of the force is defined by the R radius.
When Force sum for the circumference is selected, the value of the total force acting on the circumference: P = p*2pR is determined. The position of the force is defined by the R radius. Notice that the value of the uniform load p acting along the circumference of an axisymmetric structure changes depending on the value of the radius.
