Detailed Results

The Detailed Results dialog contains all available calculation results for the member (steel, timber or aluminum member). When any section from the Simplified Results dialog option is selected, and the calculations are complete, the following dialog is displayed:

The dialog consists of two tabs: Simplified Results and Detailed Results.

The following tabs may also appear: Displacements (calculation results for the serviceability limit state) and Battens / Lattice (verification results for elements connecting chords of complex members). They are available for two steel codes: Eurocode3 and Polish code PN.

The upper part of the Detailed Results dialog contains the section icon (located in the left upper corner) and the field with the section name (under the icon).

You may enter the section name (e.g. IPE 100) and press the AUTO button. All code parameters are automatically calculated, according to data from the upper part of the dialog (bar number, point, group, etc.) and parameters of the entered section. Once either the section group name (e.g. IPE) or the beginning of the name (e.g. ip, he, c) has been entered in the field located under the section icon, then appropriate sections i.e. the sections corresponding to the letters entered in the field under the icon become available on the unfolding list.

Additionally, the following data is displayed:

The right top part of the dialog contains the icon used to determine schematically the results of member code calculations. There are four possibilities:

Correct section

Incorrect section (stresses exceed the allowable strength value)

Unstable section (member slenderness exceeds the allowable slenderness value)

Incorrect and unstable section (the values of allowable stresses and allowable slenderness are exceeded).

The field located in the middle of the dialog contains:

Note: The contents of the dialog, after one of the selected tabs is chosen depends on the code according to which bar/group code combinations have been performed.

The following three buttons are available in the right part of the dialog (apart from the standard buttons: OK, Help):

If a complex section (complex members) is verified / calculated, then additionally the Lattice button appears in the dialog (the button is accessible for two steel codes: Eurocode3 and Polish code PN). Select the button to open the Connections of chords dialog and enable the selection and verification of elements connecting individual member chords.
