How to Begin Designing the Structure

Select the desired structure type or code module from the vignette (RC design, steel, steel connections) which will activate the appropriate module.

There are two methods of defining a structure, based on your experience with Robot.

If you are a novice, design with the layout system. It suggests appropriate design phases for creating the structure model.
If you are an advanced user, design with the menu commands or the toolbars.

Note: Several dialog boxes may be simultaneously opened on the screen.

The following examples explain the creation of component elements in the structural model.

Bar Structures:
