Code PN90

The Manual Verification dialog provides steel member verification against force values defined according to the Polish Steel Code PN 90/B-03200. Access the option by clicking Analysis > Bar Structure Design > Steel/Aluminum Members Design > Manual Calculations. The following dialog displays:

To run steel member verification based on predefined internal force values:

1. Enter the member number in the Verify Member Number field;
2. Enter values of the appropriate internal forces in the Internal Forces in an Analyzed Section field; corresponding units are displayed in the right upper corner of the dialog;
3. Enter values of the additional internal forces required for code calculations in the Internal Forces in Specific Sections field; corresponding units are displayed in the right upper corner of the dialog;
4. In the Load Type field, select a load type applied to the verified member in Y-axis or Z-axis direction; once the icon is clicked, a dialog for the load type definition displays.
5. In the Beta Coefficient field, set the coefficient value;
6. Click the Options button to select the Calculation Options;
7. Click the Calculations button.
