To insert a formula with the Formula wizard dialog

Use this procedure to insert a formula with the Formula wizard dialog.

1. Open a project in Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional.
2. Launch the Microsoft Excel software.
3. Place the cursor in the cell where you want to enter the formula.
4. Click Results Content tab Formula definition panel Formula wizard.

   The Formula wizard dialog opens.

5. Select a formula from the left panel.
   Tip: For a list of available formulas, see Formula list.
6. Specify arguments in the formula on the right side of the dialog.

   The available arguments depends on the selected formula. As you click in the text box for each formula argument, the dialog will give you a description of what is expected for that particular argument.

   Note: During the definition of arguments, in the dialog you can see a preview of the syntax formula and you can also check the value returned in this formula.
7. Click Insert.
