The 'Geotechnical Options' option enables setting the geotechnical parameters according to which a verification of foundations / continuous footings and their interaction with the soil will be proceeded. The option is available after:
- pressing the 'Geotechnical Options' icon located on the
toolbar or - selecting the menu command Analysis > Geotechnical Options.
In the above dialog box the conditions determining the method of the foundation design may be selected. The contents of this dialog box depend on a selected geotechnical (foundation design) code.
