Quick Start is a collection of videos, topics, and tutorials designed to help you get started with Simulation CFD as quickly as possible.

Learning Map

The Simulation CFD learning map graphically organizes the information needed to learn the essentials of Simulation CFD. It does not contain all of the Simulation CFD help resources, but rather focuses on the early stages of your learning experience with the tool.

The Learning Map graphically presents the information you need to learn Autodesk Simulation CFD. Each node in the map is a unique item that you can explore. Similar nodes are connected so you can see the relationship between resources.

You can navigate the learning map. To pan, hold the left mouse button and move the mouse. To zoom, roll the mouse scroll wheel.

If a node has sub-nodes, it has an arrow symbol. To view sub nodes, click the arrow symbol.

To view the content of a node, click the node. Some nodes contain multiple items such as topics, videos, or tutorial steps. To select the desired item, click it from the list.

Tutorials

Autodesk Simulation CFD contains an extensive collection of tutorial models.

Use these tutorials to become familiar with the user interface, workflow, and simulation process. The models cover a wide range of applications spanning numerous industries and functional items within Simulation CFD.

Videos

Click Videos to access the library of Autodesk Simulation CFD videos. These videos feature short demonstrations of the workflow and basic functionality. They are a valuable resource, and an integral part of the Help system.

Help

Opens the Autodesk® Simulation CFD Help system. If you are on-line, this opens the Help. If you are not connected to the Internet, this opens a local version of the Help.

The Help system comprehensively describes all aspects of using Autodesk Simulation CFD. Check the TOC (table of contents) for a list of all topics included in the Help.
