The electronics enclosure model was constructed in Autodesk® Inventor Fusion. In this step, we push it into Autodesk® Simulation CFD
1. Start Fusion, and click Open.
2. Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Simulation CFD 2014\Tutorials\Quick Start\Electronics Cooling.
Can't find the ProgramData folder?
Open a file browser window (Start menu > Computer).
From the top left corner, click Organize > Folder and search options.
Click the View tab.
Select the Show hidden files, folder, and drives option.
Click Ok.
Using Windows® XP?
You can find the model here: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\Simulation CFD 2014\Tutorials\Quick Start\Electronics Cooling.
Using Simulation CFD 360?
Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Simulation CFD 360 2014\Tutorials\Quick Start\Electronics Cooling
or
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\Simulation CFD 2014\Tutorials\Quick Start\Electronics Cooling.
3. Select Electronic-Cooling-model.dwg, and click Open.
4. To launch into Simulation CFD, click Home (tab) > Simulation (panel) > Simulation CFD:
5. On the Design Study Manager dialog, click Launch to complete the transfer into Simulation CFD:
What it should look like:
Autodesk Simulation CFD starts, and you should see the model:
