CAD Environment Connection

These CAD environment attributes are automatically applied to the Autodesk Simulation CFD model:

• Background color
• Mouse navigation mode

This is done to provide consistency between the two environments.

CAD Background Color

The background color in the Autodesk Simulation CFD Graphics window is set by the background color in the CAD tool.

To override this, do the following:

1. Open the Application menu, and click Options.
2. Change the setting for Background Color to User Defined.

CAD Mouse Navigation Mode

The default mouse navigation is Autodesk Simulation CFD. To change the navigation mode to correspond to a specific CAD system, do the following:

1. Open the Application menu, and click Options.
2. Click the Navigation tab.
3. Select from the Navigation mode menu.

To automatically use the navigation mode from whatever CAD system the model is launched from, select CAD Dependent.

Note that only the mouse controls are applied in the Autodesk Simulation CFD user interface. Specific mouse sensitivities are not read from the CAD tool.
