Examine individual object or objects

To examine one or more individual objects with the ViewCube:

1. On the model, select one or more objects to define the center point and extents of the view.
2. Right-click on the ViewCube.
   • Case 1: If the Lock to Selection option is already activated, deactivate the option to clear the previous center and extents parameters. Then, right-click the ViewCube again and activate Lock to Selection.
   • Case 2: If the Lock to Selection option is not already activated, activate the option now.

   The viewpoint will be centered and zoomed based on the extents of the selected objects.

3. Click one of the preset locations on the ViewCube, or click and drag the ViewCube to reorient the view of the model.

   The ViewCube continues to reorient the model view based on the center point and extents of the selected objects.

Note: The above procedure assumes that the Fit-to-View on view change option is enabled within the ViewCube Properties dialog box. Otherwise, the view center and zoom are not affected when the view is reoriented.
