Define the Exciting Frequencies

  1. Right-click the Analysis Type heading in the browser and select Edit Analysis Parameters.
  2. Click Analysis Setup on the Analysis Parameters dialog box.
    1. Ensure that 1 is entered in the Use modal results from Design Scenario field. The program will use the previously run modal results in this scenario.
    2. Click the Exciting Frequencies tab.
      • Activate the Include Natural Frequencies check box.  In addition to user-specified frequencies, or instead of them, the natural frequencies from the modal results can automatically be used as excitation frequencies by choosing this option. 
      • Type 10 in the first row of the Frequency (Hz) column and press Enter.
      • Type 15 in the second row of the Frequency (Hz) column and press Enter.
      • Type 25 in the third row of the Frequency (Hz) column and press Enter.
