Define the Material Properties

We will now assign the structural material properties to the two comb parts and one beam part.

1. Click the Material heading for Part 1 in the browser.
2. Hold down the Ctrl key and also click the Material heading for Part 2.
3. Right-click one of the selected headings and choose Edit Material.
   1. Click Edit Properties.
      • Type 16960 in the Modulus of Elasticity field.
      • Type 0.22 in the Poisson's Ratio field.
      • Click OK to accept these properties.
   2. Click OK to close the Element Material Selection dialog box.
4. Double-click the Material heading for Part 4 in the browser.
   1. Click Edit Properties.
      • Type 16960 in the Modulus of Elasticity field.
      • Type 0.22 in the Poisson's Ratio field.
      • Click OK to accept these properties.
   2. Click OK to close the Element Material Selection dialog box.
