Remove File Reservation

Files that are checked out are reserved and cannot be checked out by another user until the original user checks the file back in to the vault or performs an Undo Check Out. Administrators can remove the reservation on a file checked out to another user, making the file available in the vault for other users. Unlike Undo Check Out which is restricted to the current user's files, removing a file reservation can be performed by the administrator on any file checked out to any user. For example, if a user leaves the company or is on vacation and there are still files checked out to that account, the administrator can remove the reservation on the files so that the files are again available to other users. You must be an administrator to perform this action.

Note: Removing the reservation on a file discards any changes made by the user to whom it was checked out.
