View Custom Object Details

Examine custom object details through the context menu.

View General Details for a Custom Object (Vault Professional)

1. Right-click on a custom object in the vault and select Details.

   You can also access the Details dialog by selecting Details from the File menu.

2. In the Details dialog box, select the General tab.

    You can review the following information on the General tab:

   • Type of object selected

     The singular name for the custom object group is shown. For example, if you created a custom object group called Contacts and selected an object in the group, the object type will show as Contact.

   • Lifecycle State

     If the custom object is assigned a lifecycle definition, then the current lifecycle state for the custom object is displayed.
