What's New

These pages highlight the new items and changes in Autodesk® Simulation Mechanical that can affect your work. New or revised features can save time in the analysis process (building, analyzing, reviewing results), enhance the software capabilities, or resolve reported issues. Special requirements for new features and changes in the way something is defined or interpreted are discussed in this section. These pages do not necessarily cover every change in each release.

Note: The links to the documentation included on the following pages were correct when the pages were new. For versions prior to the current software version, links may not be maintained and may not work after a new version is released, due to changes in the documentation and software. The nomenclature and command path descriptions may also change between versions; the older What's New pages are not updated to reflect new nomenclature.
