- This tutorial uses the model created in the Beam Tower Model tutorial. If this tutorial was not completed, use Beam Tower.ach in your tutorial models folder.
- Assign the cross-sectional properties shown.
- All beams are Steel (AISI 4130).
- Apply a standard gravity load in the -Z direction.
- Apply a 5,000 lbf force in the -Z direction to each of the top corners.
- Apply a distributed load of 10 lbf/in in the -Z direction to the top horizontal beam.
- Fully constrain the bottom two nodes.
